Vahid Partovi Nia

is Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering of Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. He was Swiss SNF funded postdoctoral fellow at McGill University and received his Ph.D. in Statistics from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lasuanne, Switzerland under the supervision of Anthony Davison.
His main interests are science, data analysis, music, computing, blogging, and Esperanto.
